Acero para fabricar una pieza para rodamientos caracterizado porque su composición química contiene, en peso: 0,6% <-C <- 1,5% 0,4% <-Mn <- 1,5% 0,75% <- Si <-2,5% 0,2% <- Cr <-2% 0% <- Ni <- 0,5% 0% <- Mo <- 0,2% 0% <- Al <- 0,05% S <- 0,04% O < 0,0009% estando constituído el resto por hierro y por las impurezas resultantes de la elaboración y cumpliendo la composición las relaciones: Mn <- 0,75 + 0,55 x Si Mn <- 2,5 - 0,8 x Si La propiedad inclusionaria del acero, medida por el método A de la norma ASTM E 45, satisface, además, las condiciones siguientes: - inclusiones de tipo A, finas: indicios <- 2,5 - inclusiones de tipo A, gruesas:indicios <- 1,5 - inclusiones de tipo B, finas: indicios <- 1,5 - inclusiones de tipo B, gruesas:indicios <- 0,5 - inclusiones de tipo C, finas: indicios = 0 - inclusiones de tipo C, gruesas:indicios = 0 - inclusiones de tipo D, finas: indicios <- 0,5 - inclusiones de tipo D, gruesas:indicios <- 0,5 con exclusión de los aceros que contienen de 0,55 a 0,78% de C, de 0,5 a 2% de Cr, de 0,1 a 1,15% de Mn y de 1 a 2% de Si, el resto está constituído por hierro y por impurezas residuales; con exclusión de los aceros que contienen de 0,7 a 0,8% de C, de 0,5 a 1% de Si, de 0,1 a 2% de Mn, de 0,4 a 0,95% de Cr, menos de 0,050% de Al y menos de 0,0030% de O, el resto está formado por hierro e impurezas; y con exclusión de los aceros que contienen de 0,8 a 0,95 % de C, de 0,5 a 1% de Si, de 0,1 a 2% de Mn, de 0,15 a 0,4% de Cr, menos de 0,050% de Al y menos de 0,0030 de O, el resto está formado por hierro e impurezas.
