Abstract

Un método para conservar un sucedáneo de la sangre a base de hemoglobina desoxigenada, que comprende mantener el sucedáneo de la sangre a base de hemoglobina desoxigenada en un envase principal transparente que incluye un material polímero que tiene al menos un componente de barrera al oxígeno que incluye etileno- alcohol vinílico, teniendo dicho material polímero una permeabilidad al oxígeno de menos de aproximadamente 0,155 cm3/100 cm2, durante 24 horas por atmósfera, a aproximadamente 25ºC y una humedad relativa externa de aproximadamente 50%.
