Abstract

El actuador giroscópico es un nuevo dispositivo basado en un mecanismo diseñado para aprovechar la conservación del momento cinético, de forma que suministra un par (momento) a la plataforma en la que se encuentra ubicado. De esta manera puede orientar a esta plataforma en cabeceo, balanceo o guiñada, consiguiendo que tenga la actitud que un sistema de control requiera. Su utilización prevista es en los campos aeronáutico (control de maniobras en aeronaves), automoción (estabilización de todo tipo de vehículos terrestres), naval (maniobras y estabilización de plataformas navales) y aerospacial (control de actitud de satélites).
