UN PROCEDIMIENTO PARA INHIBIR LOS EFECTOS PERJUDICIALES DE LOS RAYOS UV PARA LA PIEL HUMANA COMPRENDE LA APLICACION TOPICA DE UNA CANTIDAD TERAPEUTICAMENTE EFECTIVA DE GENISTEINA A LA PIEL, DURANTE UN TIEMPO SUFICIENTEMENTE SIMILAR AL TIEMPO DE EXPOSICION A LOS RAYOS UV, A FIN DE INHIBIR LOS DAÑOS CUTANEOS INDUCIDOS POR TALES RAYOS. SE COMPRUEBA QUE LA GENISTEINA ACTUA COMO AGENTE QUIMIOPREVENTIVO, YA QUE NO TIENE NINGUN EFECTO APRECIABLE DE BLOQUEO DE LA LUZ DEL SOL. LA GENISTEINA PUEDE MEZCLARSE CON UNA SERIE DE EXCIPIENTES Y COMPOSICIONES PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE LA PIEL.
