Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación de ésteres cíclicos diméricos a partir de un producto bruto de esterificación parcial, que comprende las siguientes etapas: (a) obtención de un producto bruto de esterificación parcial, a saber una mezcla de ácido láctico y/o glicólico y de un éster láctico y/o glicólico. (b) dimerización de la fuente inicial fruto de (a) en un dímero lineal del éster por reacción de condensación entre la función hidroxilo del éster y la función ácido carboxílico del ácido, (c) ciclación de los dímeros lineales generados en (b) en ésteres cíclicos diméricos favoreciendo las reacciones de transesterificación intramolecular en detrimento de las reacciones intermoleculares. (d) extracción del éster cíclico dimérico en bruto generado en (c) y recuperación del éster cíclico dimérico purificado.
