LA INVENCION SE REFIERE A UN METODO PARA FABRICAR POLVO DE HIERRO QUE CONTENGA SILICIO MEDIANTE LA DESCOMPOSICION TERMICA DE UNA MEZCLA GASEOSA QUE CONTIENE PENTACARBONILO DE HIERRO Y, COMO COMPUESTO VOLATIL DE SILICIO, UN SILANO O UN ORGANOSILANO EXENTO DE HALOGENOS, ATRAVESANDO LA MEZCLA GASEOSA UNA CAMARA DE REACCION CALENTADA Y PROVOCANDOSE EL CALENTAMIENTO DE LA MEZCLA GASEOSA MEDIANTE CONDUCCION TERMICA. EL POLVO DE HIERRO OBTENIDO RICO EN SILICIO SE CARACTERIZA POR UN CONTENIDO ESPECIALMENTE REDUCIDO DE CUERPOS EXTRAÑOS. EL POLVO DE HIERRO QUE CONTIENE SILICIO SE PUEDE UTILIZAR PARA FABRICAR NUCLEOS DE INDUCTANCIAS, IMANES Y MATERIALES NO DETECTABLES POR RADAR.
