Abstract
Procedimiento de puesta en servicio de una cabeza de impresión de chorro de tinta para imprimir sobre un sustrato; teniendo la cabeza de impresión una cámara que se comunica con una boquilla para la eyección de gotitas de tinta y con una alimentación de tinta; comprendiendo además la cabeza de impresión medio accionables eléctricamente asociados a la cámara y que pueden ser accionados una pluralidad de veces de acuerdo con los datos de tonalidad de impresión, eyectando así un número correspondiente de gotitas para formar un punto impreso de tonalidad apropiada sobre el sustrato; comprendidendo el procedimiento las etapas de aplicación de una pluralidad de señales eléctricas a los medios eléctricamente accionables de acuerdo con los datos de tonalidad de impresión, siendo el retardo de tiempo entre aplicación de sucesivas señales tal, que cualquier variación en la velocidad media a la que viajan las gotitas correspondientes hacia el sustrato para formar dicho punto impreso permanece por debajo de la que provocaría defectos en la imagen impresa detectables a simple vista, sin tener en cuenta el número de dicha gotitas eyectadas para formar dicho punto impreso.
