Abstract

Extracto de Vitex agnus castus obtenible mediante extracción de los frutos secos y pulverizados de la planta Vitex agnus castus con un disolvente de etanol al 90-100%, separación de la solución de extracción del resto del material vegetal, separación del disolvente de la solución de extracción y recuperación del extracto. También se proporciona un suplemento dietético que comprende un extracto de Vitex agnus castus que tiene un contenido en ácido linoléico de al menos 10% en peso y una fuente de calcio, así como el uso del extracto y del suplemento dietético para tratar estados que afectan particularmente a las mujeres.
