Un prolipropileno que tiene una ramificación de cadena larga incrementada, y una resistencia a la fusión incrementada, caracterizado por el hecho de que, éste, se produce procediendo a irradiar propileno con un haz de electrones, el cual tiene una energía de por lo menos 5 MeV, con una dosis de radiación que se encuentra comprendida dentro de unos márgenes que van de 5 a 100 kGray, en presencia de un agente de injerto.
