Abstract

Un método para preparar melamina a partir de urea por medio de un proceso a alta presión, caracterizado porque se puede producir melamina de alta pureza a partir de un fundido de melamina que tiene una temperatura entre el punto de fusión de la melamina y 450°C, incorporando suficiente exceso de amoniaco en el fundido de melamina en un depósito de inyección de amoniaco para formar una mezcla gas/líquido de dos fases, teniendo la mezcla gas/líquido una relación de masas gas/líquido de entre 0, 01 y 1, 0, y después de esto pulverizando la mezcla gas/líquido mediante un medio de pulverización en un depósito de expansión para enfriar y solidificar la melamina mediante expansión y evaporación del amoniaco incorporado en el depósito de expansión de presión reducida, incluyendo dicho depósito de expansión una atmósfera de amoniaco que está por encima de la presión atmosférica.
