Abstract

Se presenta un procedimiento y una instalación para blanquear pulpa lignocelulosa con ozono, mientras se recupera el gas rico en oxígeno que puede reciclarse o reutilizarse. El blanqueado con la pulpa con ozono se lleva a cabo preferiblemente bajo condiciones en las cuales se evita la introducción de aire. En un proceso de blanqueado de etapas múltiples, un gas de escape rico en oxígeno que contiene típicamente al menos un 90% de su peso de oxígeno puede recuperarse de un segundo contactor para su utilización potencial en diferentes operaciones que consuman oxígeno en una f brica de pasta de papel.
