Abstract

Un procedimiento para la preparación de una formulación acuosa oftálmica, comprendiendo azitromicina, que comprende solubilizar fosfato polibásico oftálmicamente aceptable en una cantidad en el intervalo de 7, 8 a 68, 6 g/l, y monohidrato de ácido cítrico en una cantidad en el intervalo de 0, 9 a 35, 94 g/l, y añadir después azitromicina, en una cantidad en el intervalo de 0, 1 a 100 g/l, dentro del intervalo de temperaturas de 15-25°C, en el que la relación molar de azitromicina a ácido cítrico es igual a 1:0, 67-1:1, 5; en el que el pH se ajusta a un valor de 5, 5-7, 6; y hasta una osmolalidad final igual a 130-300 mOsm/Kg.
