Abstract

Un agente movilizador de lípidos biológicamente activo para usar en terapia, que tiene una masa molecular aparente Mr, que se determina por cromatografía de exclusión molecular, mayor que 6, 0 kDa, y que es capaz de inducir la lipólisis en adipocitos de mamíferos, caracterizado porque dicho agente movilizador de lípidos es un polipéptido glicosilado en el que el resto polipéptido se selecciona de uno de los siguientes grupos: a) un polipéptido que tenga una secuencia de aminoácidos de una Zn-a2-glicoproteína; b) un polipéptido que con respecto a (a) sea deficiente en uno o más aminoácidos que no afecten significativamente a la actividad lipolítica o movilizadora de lípidos; c) un polipéptido en el que con respecto a (a) uno o más aminoácidos están reemplazados por un o unos aminoácidos diferentes que no afecten significativamente a la actividad lipolítica o movilizadora de lípidos; d) un polipéptido en el que con respecto a (a) haya incorporado una pluralidad de aminoácidos adicionales queno interfieran con la actividad lipolítica biológica.
