Abstract
Procedimiento de fraccionamiento de hidrocarburos mediante vapor, que consiste en el calentamiento de una mezcla de hidrocarburos y de vapor de agua a una temperatura deseada y suficientemente elevada, para llevar a cabo la disgregación de los hidrocarburos y transformarlos en olefinas, estando dicho procedimiento caracterizado porque la fuente energética necesaria para el calentamiento de la mezcla es suministrada esencialmente mediante una cogeneración que produce simultáneamente, mediante combustión a partir de un combustible, energía térmica y energía mecánica transformada en electricidad mediante un alternador o generador eléctrico, y porque la mezcla se somete en primer lugar a un precalentamiento gracias a la energía térmica suministrada por la cogeneración, y se calienta a continuación a la temperatura deseada de fraccionamiento, mediante un calentamiento eléctrico con la electricidad suministrada por la cogeneración.
