Abstract

Un método para cristalización de xilosa desde una solución de xilosa que contiene por encima de un 30 % en peso de xilosa sobre sólidos secos disueltos por sobresaturación de la solución respecto a xilosa y cristalizando desde ella la xilosa, caracterizado porque la solución que contiene xilosa se deja evaporar hasta sobresaturación en el punto de ebullición de 40 a 80°C de la solución, se siembra la solución, y la evaporación se continúa en el punto de ebullición de la masa de cristalización, hasta obtener una masa de cristalización con un rendimiento de cristales de 1 a 60 % sobre xilosa, y un contenido en sólidos secos por encima del 70 %.
