Abstract

Un acoplamiento de quinta rueda para su montaje en un vehículo remolcador, para su cooperación con un pivote de dirección montado en un remolque, comprendiendo el acoplamiento una placa (12) que tiene una ranura (24) para la recepción del pivote de dirección, un mecanismo (46, 48, 50, 52) de retención montado pivotablemente mediante el que se puede mantener el pivote de dirección en la ranura (24), incluyendo dicho mecanismo un brazo (52) de liberación que es susceptible de enganche con la placa (12) en una primera posición (Figura 3), en la que el mecanismo se mantiene en su posición de liberación, y una segunda posición (Figura 2), en la que el mecanismo se mantiene en su posición de retención, y una disposición (38, 39) de pistón y cilindro accionable por fluido, cuyo pistón (38) está conectado al brazo (52) de liberación, a cuyo efecto el pistón (38) es accionable para mover el brazo (52) de liberación, contra el empuje del resorte, hacia su primera posición, con lo que el mecanismo deretención está capacitado para liberar el pivote de dirección, que se caracteriza porque se han montado medios (78) de conmutación en el brazo (52) de liberación para la actuación de la disposición (38, 39) de pistón y cilindro, y porque se ha montado deslizablemente en el brazo (52) de liberación un émbolo (70), y sirve, por una parte, como dispositivo de retención adicional que mantiene el brazo (52) de liberación en relación de enganche con la placa (12) en su segunda posición, y por otra parte, como medio para accionar los medios (78) de conmutación según desliza en relación con el brazo (52) de liberación.
