Abstract
Procedimiento de fermentación anaerobia combinada de residuos sólidos urbanos y lodos urbanos. El invento se caracteriza por un tratamiento conjunto de la materia orgánica seleccionada de los residuos urbanos con los lodos extraídos de las depuradoras, mezclándose ambos de forma profunda en proporción a las cantidades producidas por habitante equivalente de la aglomeración urbana. Las cantidades producidas por habitante equivalente se someten en un tanque cerrado a una fermentación ácida, hasta alcanzar un ph entre 3,5 y 5,0 en un periodo entre 2 y 4 días a temperatura ambiente, pasando a un segundo tanque cerrado con una fermentación alcalina con un ph entre 6,8 y 7,8 en un periodo de 8 a 13 días a temperatura entre 28°c y 35°c, obteniéndose a la salida un compost de calidad para fines agrícolas.
