Abstract

Freno de aparcamiento para vehículos de motor, caracterizado porque comprende una caja cilíndrica de cierre estanco, dividida por un tabique intermedio desplazable, a modo de émbolo, en dos cámaras de volumen variable, herméticamente separadas entre sí, estando unido el tabique desplazable solidariamente al extremo de un vástago conectado con los cables o palancas de accionamiento del freno y estando sometido a la acción de un muelle que tiende a mantenerlo en la posición correspondiente a la de accionamiento del freno, de modo que al poner el motor en marcha o conectar una de las cámaras de la caja de cierre estanco con un calderín de reserva de vacío, se produce en dicha cámara una depresión, con lo que el tabique intermedio viene obligado a desplazarse en sentido contrario al de la resistencia del muelle, desfrenándose por tanto el vehículo.
