Abstract

La presente invención es un procedimiento de tratamiento de purines que comprende la separación física sólido-líquido de un efluente líquido que contiene purines para generar una fracción sólida y una líquida, la separación físico-química de la fracción líquida obtenida en la etapa anterior para obtener una fracción sólida y una líquida, electrocoagulación de la fracción líquida obtenida para obtener una fracción sólida y una líquida, y peletizado de las fracciones sólidas obtenidas en la suma de las etapas anteriores en presencia de materiales lígnicos o lignocelulosicos. El aglomerado sólido obtenido por peletizado ofrece un alto poder calorífico en la combustión, y el líquido resultante queda con un muy bajo contenido de compuestos nitrogenados y de restos de materia orgánica disuelta, fósforo y contaminantes orgánicos o metales pesados.
