Abstract
Un método para aumentar la longitud y/o la longevidad de pelos radiculares y/o del número de pelos radiculares en una planta que comprende: aumentar la expresión de un polipéptido relacionado con RHD6 mediante la incorporación de un ácido nucleico heterólogo que codifica un polipéptido relacionado con RHD6 que comprende una secuencia de aminoácidos que tiene al menos un 90 % de identidad de secuencia con la SEC ID Nº: 1 en una célula vegetal mediante transformación, expresión de dicho ácido nucleico heterólogo en las células de dicha planta, y regeneración de la planta a partir de una o más células transformadas donde la longitud y/o la longevidad de pelos radiculares y/o el número de pelos radiculares están aumentados en relación con las plantas control en las que la expresión del polipéptido relacionado con RHD6 no está aumentada
