Abstract

Un elemento abierto (3) para intercambio de calor entre fluidos, que comprende un material en forma de chapa (13) plegada para formar una pluralidad de ranuras (14), ranuras (14) que constituyen los recorrido de flujo de los fluidos, en el que el material en forma de chapa (13) está reforzado, sobre al menos una parte de su anchura y longitud, por medio de dispositivos de refuerzo, y en el que los extremos del material en forma de chapa plegada (13) están sellados por medio de un cierre hermético de extremo (15), caracterizado porque el elemento abierto (3) comprende además un armazón abierto (17), estando dispuesto el material en forma de chapa (13) en el armazón abierto (17), estando configurado cada uno de los extremos del armazón (17) con dos orificios pasantes que forman entradas (20) y salidas (21) para cada uno de los fluidos, donde el armazón abierto (17) está constituido por un armazón superior y un armazón inferior (17a, 17b) configurados con una porción abierta (22), cubriendo así el armazón abierto (17) sólo los bordes del material en forma de chapa plegada (13).
