Abstract
Un dispositivo para tratamiento de heridas utilizando presión reducida, comprendiendo dicho dispositivo: - una bomba (7) que puede proporcionar una presión reducida, - una cubierta de barrera de gas, - un primer material compresible (20) que está adaptado para expandirse elásticamente después de la compresión y que contiene vacíos, - un segundo material (21) que puede absorber fluidos de la herida en una cantidad varias veces su propio peso y retener los fluidos de la herida absorbidos; en el que dichos primer y segundo materiales están dispuestos en el interior de la cubierta y forman un depósito (6) conectado a dicha bomba (7), comprendiendo además dicho dispositivo: - una entrada para conectar el depósito con una herida (1) a efectos de permitir que la bomba (7) exponga la herida a la presión reducida, - un almohadilla (2) de la herida a disponer en la cavidad de la herida, y - un cierre estanco (3) que cubre la herida y dicha almohadilla para la herida; caracterizado porque un tercer material (27) está dispuesto alrededor de por lo menos una parte principal del primer material (20), teniendo dicho tercer material una elevada capacidad de difusión de líquido, y porque dicho segundo material (21) está en forma de por lo menos una capa dispuesta en el exterior del tercer material y separado de este modo del primer material mediante dicho tercer material.

El botón indicador comprende la parte inferior 951 que tiene un color que se diferencia claramente del receptáculo 91. El botón indicador tiene una parte superior 952 de un color neutro y está dotado de ganchos 953 que están dispuestos para limitar el movimiento del botón hacia arriba, a través de la abertura 911 del receptáculo.
5 El indicador de fuga está dispuesto para indicar cuándo la presión en el interior del depósito excede una presión predeterminada. El resorte está dispuesto para cooperar con la presión en el interior de dicho espacio, es decir, el espacio por debajo de la membrana del receptáculo, contra la presión atmosférica, de manera que dicho resorte está dispuesto para estar en estado comprimido cuando la presión en el interior de dicho espacio es igual o menor que dicha presión predeterminada, y el resorte está dispuesto para expandirse a efectos de hacer que el botón indicador sea visible en el exterior de dicha pared circundante del receptáculo 91 para de indicar que la presión en el interior de la barrera de gas excede dicha presión predeterminada.
Un ejemplo de un material adecuado en la membrana es una película de 80 m de grosor de PUR/EVOH/PUR,
15 donde el etilén vinil alcohol (EVOH) forma una barrera de gas. Dicha película se vende bajo la denominación comercial Epurex LPT 9036. Un resorte adecuado es el resorte número 1128 de la compañía Lesjöfors Stockholms Fjäder AB.
La figura 4a muestra cómo se puede fabricar un primer ejemplo de la válvula unidireccional del tubo de entrada. Un tubo 40 con un diámetro interior mayor que el diámetro exterior del tubo de entrada se comprime en primer lugar sobre el tubo de entrada. El diámetro exterior del tubo de entrada tiene, por ejemplo, aproximadamente 2 mm. Una ventaja de dicho tubo delgado, en comparación con un tubo más grueso, es que dicho tubo se puede curvar de manera aguda sin ningún riesgo de que la curvatura provoque pliegues que bloqueen el transporte de gas y de líquido a través del tubo. Una película delgada de poliuretano 41 recubierta con un gel de silicona en un lado está 25 doblada sobre la parte extrema 50 con gel frente a gel. La película 41 tiene adecuadamente un grosor de 20 m y, cuando se aplica, un tamaño de 20 x 20 mm, es decir, un tamaño que es manejable a mano. La película doblada se adhiere alrededor de la parte extrema 50, con 10 mm sobre el tubo 5 y 10 mm en el exterior, y se corta a lo largo de la línea quebrada 42. La película se corta de manera que la película doblada se extiende a una distancia A, adecuadamente unos 5 mm, en el exterior del final del tubo y a una distancia B, de aproximadamente 4 mm, a los lados. El tubo 40 se comprime a continuación sobre la película cortada, de manera que el tubo se dispone sobre la película, tal como se muestra en la figura 4b, es decir se extiende aproximadamente la misma distancia hacia el exterior de ambos extremos de la película cortada. Un ejemplo de un gel de silicona adecuado es un gel de silicona hidrófobo comercializado por la firma Dow Corning bajo la denominación comercial Dow-Corning Q7-22. Una capa de gel de silicona de un grosor de aproximadamente 40 g/m2 aplicada sobre la película 41 trabaja con la finalidad
35 prevista. La válvula unidireccional formada funciona como sigue.
Cuando se genera una presión reducida mediante la bomba de aspiración, la membrana de válvula formada por la parte de película que se extiende a la distancia A en el exterior del extremo del tubo 5 forma un canal abierto que permite la aspiración de aire y de líquido desde la herida. Si la presión en el interior del depósito aumenta por encima de la presión de la herida no existe riesgo de que el exudado de la herida se aspire de regreso a la herida. La membrana de válvula o el canal formado mediante la parte de película que se extiende en el exterior del extremo del tubo 5 se comprimirá y cerrará el canal cuando la presión en el exterior del canal formado por la película delgada sea mayor que la presión en el canal. El gel de silicona en el interior de las paredes del canal se adherirá entre sí y formará un cierre hermético. El tubo exterior 40 funciona como un protector alrededor del canal formado mediante
45 dicha parte de película, y la parte de película que forma la membrana está afectada solamente por la presión del aire entre la herida y el depósito, es decir, cualquier presión mecánica en torno a la válvula unidireccional será asumida por el tubo exterior 40. La válvula unidireccional se abrirá de nuevo cuando la presión en el depósito se reduzca por debajo de la presión en el interior de la herida. La válvula unidireccional 24 descrita anteriormente se muestra asimismo en la figura 2.
En las figuras 5a y 5b se muestra una válvula unidireccional alternativa.
La válvula unidireccional 240 tiene la forma de una bolsa con dos lados principales 243, 244 y cerrada en torno su periferia 241, y cerrada de manera estanca alrededor del extremo del tubo para formar una entrada de bolsa desde 55 el tubo a la bolsa. La bolsa tiene una abertura 242 en uno 243 de dichos lados. La válvula unidireccional está abierta con los dos lados principales a cierta distancia entre sí para permitir que el gas y el líquido de la herida entren a la bolsa a través de dicha entrada de la bolsa y salgan a través de dicha abertura de la bolsa cuando la presión en torno a la bolsa es menor que la de la herida. La válvula unidireccional está cerrada con dichos lados principales 243, 244 presionados uno contra otro en torno a dicha abertura de la bolsa, cuando la presión alrededor de la bolsa es mayor que la de la herida. La válvula unidireccional 240 se muestra en sección transversal en la figura 5b. Un protector 400, que cumple la misma función que el tubo 40 en la realización acorde con las figuras 4a y 4b, se muestra esquemáticamente sólo en la figura 5b, define un espacio en cuyo interior la bolsa se puede expandir libremente efectuado solamente por la diferencia de presión entre la herida y el depósito. El protector debería ser relativamente estable en forma y resistir una presión mecánica de una magnitud como la que se puede producir en 65 el depósito durante su utilización. La bolsa está fabricada preferentemente de una película de PUR con un grosor de aproximadamente 20 m y recubierta con una capa de gel de silicona hidrófoba de un grosor de 40 g/m2 sobre los
