Abstract

Una impresora de chorro de tinta del tipo de control de carga que comprende: una boquilla (1) que forma continuamente gotitas de tinta; un electrodo (2) de carga que carga cada una de las gotitas de tinta; un electrodo de desviación (3) que desvía algunas de las gotitas de tinta cargadas; una abertura (5) de recogida que recoge el resto de gotitas de tinta no desviadas; y un cabezal de impresión (7) que descarga la gotita de tinta desviada para imprimir las gotitas sobre un sustrato impreso (11), en la que el cabezal de impresión (7) tiene una fuente (13) de luz UV, una cubierta (8) de cabezal de impresión que cubre la boquilla (1) y el electrodo (2) de carga y el electrodo de desviación (3), y una abertura (9) practicada en la cubierta (8) de cabezal de impresión y que deja pasar las gotitas de tinta desviadas, y en la que la fuente (13) de luz UV tiene un miembro (17) de enfoque que enfoca la luz UV sobre al menos parte de una trayectoria (10) de vuelo de la gotita de tinta entre la abertura (9) de la cubierta de cabezal de impresión y el sustrato impreso (11) y sobre una región de posado del sustrato impreso (11), y una fuente (15) de emisión de luz.
