Abstract
Utilización, como agente de captura de óxidos de carbono, en particular CO2, de al menos un compuesto de la siguiente fórmula (1): X-(OCR2)n-OX' (1), en la que: - n es un número entero comprendido entre 2 y 20, preferentemente entre 2 y 8, incluyendo los extremos, - X y X', idénticos o diferentes, representan, independientemente entre sí, un radical CmH2m+1 estando m comprendido entre 1 y 20, preferentemente entre 1 y 10, incluyendo los extremos, y - R representa hidrógeno o X.

Según otro modo más de realización preferido, la invención contempla la utilización de una mezcla de compuestos de fórmula (1), en la que X representa el radical metilo o el radical etilo y n está comprendido entre 2 y 8, incluyendo los extremos.
Según un modo de realización aún más preferido, la invención contempla la utilización de al menos un compuesto de fórmula (1) que es una mezcla de compuestos de fórmula CH3-(OCH2)n-OCH3 estando n comprendido entre 2 y 8, incluyendo los extremos, cuya composición es la siguiente (los porcentajes están expresados en moles):

Más particularmente, una composición preferida para la utilización de la presente invención es una mezcla de compuestos de fórmula CH3-(OCH2)n-OCH3 estando n comprendido entre 2 y 8, incluyendo los extremos, cuya composición es la siguiente (los porcentajes están expresados en moles):

Según otra realización preferida más, la invención contempla la utilización de una mezcla de compuestos de fórmula C2H5-(OCH2)n-OC2H5 estando n comprendido entre 1 y 8 incluyendo los extremos, cuya composición es la siguiente:

Los compuestos de fórmula (1) o las mezclas de los compuestos de fórmula (1), tal como se han definido, pueden utilizarse solos o mezclados con uno o varios disolventes.
Como norma general, el o los compuestos de fórmula (1) están presentes en una cantidad que varía entre el 0,1 % en peso y el 99 % en peso, con respecto al peso total de la mezcla del o de los compuestos de formula (1), con al menos un disolvente.
Como ejemplos no limitantes de disolventes que pueden utilizarse en el marco de la presente invención, se pueden citar los alcoholes lineales, preferentemente los alcoholes lineales, las cetonas, los polietilenglicoles, los disolventes azufrados, como, por ejemplo, el sulfolano, los disolventes nitrogenados, como, por ejemplo, la N-metilpirrolidona, y otros.
Según otro aspecto, la presente invención concierne a un procedimiento de captura de óxidos de carbono, por ejemplo, de CO y/o de CO2, preferentemente de CO2, que comprende al menos una etapa de poner en contacto un flujo gaseoso que comprende al menos un óxido de carbono, con al menos un compuesto de fórmula (1) tal como se ha definido anteriormente.
Antes de esta etapa de poner en contacto, el flujo gaseoso se somete eventualmente a un pretratamiento, por ejemplo, para eliminar uno o varios de los compuestos, distintos a los óxidos de carbono, y presentes en el flujo gaseoso.
Ventajosamente, y antes de ser sometido a una captura de CO y/o de CO2 según el procedimiento de la invención, dicho flujo tiene un contenido de óxidos de carbono, tales como CO y/o CO2, comprendido en el intervalo que varía entre el 1 % y el 100 % en volumen, preferentemente entre el 1 % y el 90 % en volumen, más preferentemente entre el 1 % y el 50 % en volumen, a una temperatura comprendida en el intervalo que varía desde -40 ºC hasta 100 ºC, preferentemente desde 20 hasta 80 ºC, y bajo una presión comprendida en el intervalo que varía desde 0,1 MPa hasta 8 MPa, preferentemente desde 0,1 MPa hasta 5 MPa.
Según un modo de realización de la invención, el procedimiento de captura de óxidos de carbono se lleva a cabo en una columna de absorción a una temperatura comprendida en el intervalo que varía desde -40 ºC hasta 100 ºC, preferentemente desde 20 hasta 80 ºC. La presión en la columna está comprendida en el intervalo que varía desde 0,1 MPa hasta 8 MPa, preferentemente desde 0,1 MPa hasta 5 MPa.
Como ejemplo de columna se puede utilizar cualquier tipo de columna, tal como una columna de plataformas
