Abstract

Uso de una composición que contiene del 6 % al 25 % en peso de licopeno de una fuente natural, siendo dicha fuente natural verduras, frutas, materia vegetal, hongos y fuentes fúngicas y biomasa natural, y comprendiendo dicha composición más del 0,3 % en peso de uno o más carotenoides seleccionados de entre fitoeno y fitoflueno o mezclas de los mismos para fabricar un medicamento para proteger la piel contra los daños causados por la radiación ultravioleta (uv) del sol, en el que la composición debe administrarse por vía oral a un sujeto que necesita protección en una cantidad eficaz, y en el que la composición contiene del 1 % al 4 % en peso de vitamina E.
