Abstract

Una composición de revestimiento de un solo componente, que comprende: un polímero de urea N-sustituido con cadenas extendidas y alcoxisilanos terminales, en donde dicho polímero es un producto de reacción de (a) un poliisocianato alifático, (b) un alcoxisilano amino-funcional Nsustituido, y (c) un extensor de cadena de diamina secundaria, en donde no queda nada de isocianato que no haya reaccionado en dicho polímero.

Los grupos N-sustituidos de las diaminas secundarias pueden ser C1-C12 alquilo, cicloalquilo o alifático que contiene éster. Los grupos N-sustituidos pueden ser producidos haciendo reaccionar una amina con un aldehído o una cetona (por ejemplo, acetona, metiletilcetona) y reduciendo después (hidrogenación). Los grupos N-sustituidos pueden ser también producidos haciendo reaccionar una amina con una molécula que contiene un grupo “eno”, tal como un acrilato o un maleato, mediante una reacción de adición de Michael (adición de conjugado).
