Abstract

The invention relates to a device for attaching accessory parts of bicycles, in particular of pedal-cycle gear shift controls, to the frame tubes of bicycles or similar vehicles. The device is characterised in that the attachment part (5) of the gear shift control (A) or of the other accessory part(s) has an extension (5b) in the form of a wide projection, which is profiled for direct fitting in a stable and closed manner against the said frame tube, and in that a member (12, 16, 17) for adjustment and for screwing together the gear shift control is attached in a suitable manner to the frame tube (B) which extends from the saddle to the bottom-bracket bearing. The said member has a bored-through tube piece which is provided with an internal thread, is of suitable length and penetrates into the aforementioned frame tube. The wide projection (5b) has a passage (5d) which fits over the projecting part (12b, 16b, 17a) on the tube of the positioning and mounting member without hindering the stable support of the said projection against the tube. The invention is also characterised in that at least one screw (13) for attaching and locking the gear shift control or the accessory part(s) passes through a cutout (5e) in the said wide projection and is screwed into the tube piece, provided with an internal thread, of the member in order to make possible the adjustments of the gear shift control with respect to the toothed lock washers of the pedal-crank bearing.
