Abstract
Dispositivo implantable para la eliminación de moléculas tóxicas del líquido cefalorraquídeo. El dispositivo está previsto para la eliminación de moléculas tóxicas del líquido cefalorraquídeo, pudiendo utilizarse para el tratamiento de enfermedades neurológicas debidas a moléculas que se encuentran presentes en el LCR. Dicho dispositivo comprende un catéter de doble luz (1) con un extremo libre para acceso y paso de las moléculas del líquido cefalorraquídeo, mientras que el otro extremo presenta una cápsula (3) con dos cámaras (5) y (6) separadas por un tabique intermedio (4) de retención de las moléculas tóxicas que acceden a la primera cámara (5) junto con el líquido cefalorraquídeo, tabique intermedio (4) que permite el paso del líquido cefalorraquídeo sin las moléculas tóxicas a la segunda cámara (6) para su incorporación de nuevo al organismo. Las cámaras (5) y (6) incorporan respectivas ventanas (7) y (8) a través de las cuales es pasante una aguja para permitir tanto la extracción de LCR como la inyección de líquidos en los que se encuentran disueltas nanopartículas funcionalizadas con anticuerpos específicos contra las moléculas diana.
