Abstract
Procedure for the preparation of binders for electrical insulation, characterized by the operation of intimately mixing at least three of the following four constituents: - bisphenol A epoxy resin, with an epoxy equivalent of between 174 and 195, - epoxy resin of a novolak with an epoxy equivalent of between 175 and 182, - phenol novolac hardener, prepared with an organic acid catalyst, corresponding to a theoretical chain of 5 to 8 - chain rings, decanted and washed in the state of methylphenol, - condensed hardener resorcinol-formaldehyde, obtained by reacting 2 moles of resorcinol and 1 mole of formaldehyde with an organic acid catalyst, these hardeners are used with contents corresponding to hydroxide/oxirane ratios between 0.5 and 1.3.
