Abstract
Purification process of wastewater loaded with sulfur impurities, consisting in particular of mineral sulphides, characterized in that an oxidation of said impurities is carried out by treatment with a peroxidic compound chosen from the group comprising hydrogen peroxide, perborates, percarbonates, monoperoxysulfuric acid, monopersulfates, dipersulfates, perforic acid, peracetic acid and the perphthalic acids in free or salidified form, the end of the treatment being controlled by electrochemical means.
