Abstract
Procedure for the manufacture of NaOH soda powder, characterized in that it comprises the following phases: Phase 1: contact NaOH, in beads or tablets, with a hygroscopic mineral product, not soluble in water, in a mixing screw, therefore with very little ambient atmosphere; Phase 2: crush the resulting combination in a hammer crusher at a speed of 2,000 to 3,000 rpm, at which speed the crusher acts as an air aspirator, to increase the contact surface between the NaOH particles and the moisture-laden ambient air ; Phase 3: absorption by the hygroscopic mineral product particles of part of the ambient humidity; Phase 4: absorption by some of the moisture NaOH particles, creating saturated NaOH solution zones on a hygroscopic scale; and Phase 5: immediate absorption of these microscopic zones of saturated NaOH solution by particles of hygroscopic mineral product.
