Un método para la preparación directa de derivados N-ácido de ácidos ceto alfa-amino-gamma cuyo método comprende forma un aducto entre una amida primaria y un ácido glioxilico o un éster del mismo y hacer reaccionar dicho aducto con compuestos 1,3-dicarbonilo en presencia de un catalizador ácido.
