Abstract
Procedimiento que sirve para medir sin contacto la longitud o la velocidad de una cinta en movimiento, de acuerdo con el cual se fijan en esta cinta unas marcas que sirven como puntos de referencia, los cuales se detectan por medio de uno receptores que están colocados a una distancia fija uno de otro (distancia de medida) y que sirven para medir el tiempo que necesita dicha cinta para recorrer la distancia de medida y por consiguiente para determinar la velocidad o, si llega el caso, la longitud de la misma.
