Abstract

Procedimiento para preparar papel y cartón, en donde se incorporan almidón y una carga mineral en fibras celulósicas, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de (a) suspender almidón en bruto en suficiente cantidad de agua fría para formar una suspensión que contiene de 3 a 10% en peso aproximadamente de sólidos de almidón; (d) calentar la suspensión así obtenida con agitación, a una temperatura del orden de 74-95ºC; (c) añadir un fosfato de almidón o solución conteniendo 1-10% en peso aproximadamente del fosfato de almidón; (d) añadir la solución o suspensión de fosfato de almidón a la suspensión de almidón en bruto y elevar la temperatura de la mezcla así obtenida a un valor por dentro de la gama de 75-95ºC y mantener su temperatura en dicho nivel durante 5 a 10 minutos aproximadamente;
