Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation d'un papier ou d'un carton consistant à incorporer de l'amidon et une charge minérale dans des fibres cellulosiques. On utilise un mélange d'amidon brut et de phosphate d'amidon, ce mélange étant préparé dans des conditions particulières; le mélange d'amidon et de phosphate d'amidon est coagulé et il est incorporé sous cette forme dans les fibres cellulosiques lors de la production de pâte pour la fabrication du papier. Ce procédé permet d'utiliser une plus forte quantité d'une charge peu coûteuse et une quantité moindre de pâte à papier coûteuse pour fabriquer un papier ou un carton d'excellente qualité.
