Abstract

Procedimiento de obtención de una pintura antisuciedad para cascos de barco, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: (a) polimerizar en emulsión una mezcla de al menos una sal de triorganoestaño de un ácido carboxílico olefinicamente insaturado y de al menos un comonómero olefinicamente insaturado, en presencia de un surfactante aniónico o no iónico y de un iniciador de polimerización, a una temperatura y durante un tiempo y con una selección de monómeros tales que se obtenga un copolímero en emulsión que contiene más de 50 hasta 80% en peso de unidades de la sal o sales de triotganoestaño y que tiene una temperatura de transición vitrea inferior a 30ºC; y (b)mezclar una emulsión acuosa del copolímero en emulsión con un pigmento metalífero sustancialmente insoluble en agua, capaz de reaccionar con el agua de mar para formar un compuesto metálico soluble en agua.
