Abstract

Procedimiento para tratar esponja de hierro para protegerla contra la reoxidación y/o corrosión, durante el almacenamiento y el transporte, caracterizado porque partículas de esponja de hierro se arrollan a continuación de la fabricación de la esponja de hierro en una mezcla de polvo de cal viva y de aditivos en forma de polvo que mejoran la adherencia, como hierro y óxidos de hierro, particularmente Fe2O3 y Fe3O4, y se humedecen a continuación con una cantidad de agua que es inferior a la necesaria para ña hidratación completa de la cal viva.
