Abstract

Los compuestos de esta invención son útiles para el control de la vegetación indeseable. Pueden utilizarse para el control selectivo de las malas hierbas en cultivos como algodón, soja y remolacha azucarera o siempre que se requiera un control general de la maleza, como en centros industriales, servidumbres de paso del ferrocarril y lugares adyacentes a las tierras cultivadas. En sentido amplio, los compuestos de la invención se utilizan en proporciones de unos 0,06 a unos 15 kg por hectárea. Las proporciones más bajas de este intervalo se seleccionan generalmente para el control selectivo de las malas hierbas en cultivos, sobre suelos más ligeros, suelos bajos en materia orgánica o en situaciones donde no es necesaria una persistencia máxima. En muchas situaciones es ventajoso incorporar estos productos químicos a la tierra.
