Abstract
Procedimiento para la recuperación y purificación de acrilonitrilo o metacrilonitrilo producidos por la reacción de oxidación amoniacal de propileno o isobutileno, oxígeno molecular y amoníaco en presencia de catalizadores de oxidación amoniacal, que comprende: a) poner en contacto el efluente del reactor de oxidación amoniaca que contiene acrilonitrilo o metacrilonitrilo, acetonitrilo e impurezas con un líquido acuoso de enfriamiento brusco en un sistema de enfriamiento brusco para producir un efluente gaseoso de enfriamiento brusco procedente de dicho sistema de enfriamiento brusco; b) absorber dicho efluente gaseoso de enfriamiento brusco en agua para formar una solución acuosa; c) alimentar la solución acuosa a un plato intermedio de una primera columna que tiene una pluralidad de platos, utilizando agua como disolvente introducida por el extremo superior de dicha primera columna para realizar una destilación extractiva del agua, donde una primera corriente de vapores de cabezas de acrilonitrilo o metacrilonitrilo con algo de agua se separa por el fondo de la primera columna; d) alimentar al menos una parte de las colas líquidas procedentes de dicha primera columna a una segunda columna en la que se lleva a cabo destilación para separar una segunda corriente de vapores de cabezas de acetonitrilo y agua por el extremo superior de la segunda columna, y una segunda corriente líquida que contiene agua e impurezas por el fondo de la segunda columna; e) alimentar al menos una parte de la segunda corriente de colas líquidas al sistema de enfriamiento brusco de (a) como líquido acuoso de enfriamiento brusco, la mejora que comprende: separar una corriente de vapores de la cuarta parte inferior de dicha segunda columna.
