Abstract
Procedimiento para curtir al cromo pellejos y pieles animales, caracterizado porque comprende precurtir peladas piqueladas con por lo menos una sal de cromo (III), la precurtición seguida por una curtición completiva en la presencia de por lo menos un agente ligador de ácido , con un agente de curtición al cromo que comprende un producto de reacción de un formiato y/o ácido fórmico con un sulfato de cromo (III), empleándose por lo menos 2 moles de formiato y/on ácido fórmico por cada mol de Cr2O3 en el agente de curtición al cromo empleado para la curtición completiva, siendo la cantidad todal de aplicación de óxido de cromo de un 1,0 hasta un 1,8% basado en el peso de las peladas, y siendo la curtición llevada a cabo con un peso de baño que es de un 100% como máximo basado en el peso de las peladas, hasta un valor pH final de por lo menos 4,0.
