EL PROCEDIMIENTO COMIENZA CON EL DESENCALADO, SEGUIDO POR UNA SALMUERA DE CALDOS DE CROMO AGOTADOS, RECICLADOS SIN ULTERIOR ADICION DE SAL, SEGUIDAMENTE SE EFECTUA LA CURTICION AL CROMO, EN CADA CASO, CON EMPLEO MINIMO DE MATERIA CURTIENTE DE CROMO, CON LA CONDICION DE QUE EN LA TOTALIDAD DE LAS ETAPAS DEL PROCEDIMIENTO DEBEN EXISTIR MEDIOS ENMASCARADORES Y EN QUE, CON RECICLADO CERRADO, POR INCLUSION DE LAS PIELES EN TRIPA EN LOS BAÑOS RESIDUALES AGOTADOS, CONTENIENDO SAL, EL CONTENIDO DE SAL DE LAS AGUAS RESIDUALES SE DISMINUYE AL MINIMO.
