Abstract

Un procedimiento para aislar ácido pseudomónico de un medio de que lo contiene, que comprende: a) preparar una solución cruda del ácido psudomónico exenta de cualquier componente neutro, por extracción con un disolvente orgánico no miscible con agua de los componentes ácidos de dicho medio acidulado o un pH comprendido entre 4 y 5, separar la fase orgánica y extraerla con una disolución acuosa a un pH comprendido entre 7 y 9, acidular dicha solución acuosa a un pH comprendido entre 4 y 5 para obtener una preparación cruda del ácido pseudomónico. b) formar una disolución en un disolvente orgánico no miscible con agua de los componente ácidos de la preparación cruda esencialmente exenta de cualquier componente neutro, siendo el disolvente orgánico no miscible con agua de una polaridad tal que el ácido pseudomónico cristaliza preferentemente de la solución, dejar cristalizar el ácido pseudomónico y después recuperar los cristales.
