Abstract

Un procedimiento de fabricación de nitroparafinas por nitración en fase gaseosa, bajo presión, eventualmente en presencia de un gas oxigenado, según el cual el reaccionante a nitrar está constituido por una mezcla que contiene propano, siendo el agente de nitración peróxido de nitrógeno o ácido nítrico solos o mezclados con cualquier agente portador de un grupo NO o NO2 fácilmente transferible, escogiéndose la temperatura y la presión de reacción, y el tiempo de contacto, así como las relaciones cuantitativas entre el agente de nitración, la mezcla que contiene propano, y eventualmente el gas oxigenado, de tal modo que la nitración es llevada a cabo en fase gaseosa homogénea, caracterizado porque la presión de reacción puede alcanzar 100 bares, estando comprendida de preferencia entre 10 y 30 bares, y el tiempo de contacto puede estar comprendido entre 0,01 y 20 segundos, siendo de preferencia del orden de 5 a 8 segundos, para una temperatura de reacción de 280 a 500ºC.
