Abstract

Un procedimiento de preparación de un copolímero de injerto, constituido por una porción de mono-epóxido injertada sobre una porción de esqueleto acrílico-amínico, caracterizado porque la porción de esqueleto acrílico-amínico y la porción de monoepóxido se hacen reaccionar en proporciones que producen un copolímero de injerto donde las respectivas porciones están constituidas esencialmente, sobre el peso del copolímero de injerto, por alrededor de: (a) 25-60% de un copolímero de esqueleto acrílico-amínico que contribuye con: 14,7-35% de un acrilato o metacrilato de amina secundaria, que da 0,08 a 0,2 equivalentes de amina terciaria por 100 g. de copolímero de injeto, 7-17% de acrilato o metacrilato hidroxi- funcional, 3-7,3% de acrilato de etilo o metacrilato de metilo y 0,3-0,7% de mercaptoetanol, que proporciona la funcionalidad hidroxi primaria terminal, polimerizado por un injerto con (b) y (c): (b) 33-60% de un copolímero de epoxi-ácido graso de un polímero de condensación de proporciones equimoleculares de epiclorhidrina y bisfenol A, que ha reaccionado con un ácido graso en una relación molar de resina epoxi a ácido graso de 1/1,4-1,7 y (c) 7-15% de un éster glicidílico de un ácido carboxílico terciario que contiene de 7 a 9 átomos de carbono.
