Abstract
Procedimiento para preparar bicarbonato sódico, de tamaño cristalino, constitución física y densidad aparente controlados, caracterizado porque comprende precipitar bicarbonato sódico a partir de (1) una solución acuosa de carbonato sódico y bicarbonato sódico o (2) una lechada de bicarbonato sódico en una solución acuosa de carbonato sódico y bicarbonato sódico, encontrándose la temperatura de dicha solución acuosa o lechada entre 50 y 120ºC aproximadamente y siendo la relación en peso del carbonato sódico al bicarbonato sódico en dicha solución acuosa, a 50ºC aproximadamente, del orden de 15 partes de carbonato sódico y 7 partes de bicarbonato sódico hasta 1 parte de carbonato sódico y 12 partes de bicarbonato sódico aproximadamente hasta, a 120ºC aproximadamente, 16 partes de carbonato sódico y 16 partes de bicarbonato sódico hasta 1 parte de carbonato sódico y 22 partes de bicarbonato sódico aproximadamente, conteniendo la solución o lechada suficiente ion Ca++ de manera que en el bicarbonato sódico obtenido se encuentra 30-160 partes por millón aproximadamente de ion Ca++, tomando como base el bicarbonato sódico.
