Abstract
1. Un aparato para disolver gas en un líquido, que comprende una entrada para introducir una corriente de líquido en dicho aparato, medios para inyectar un gas en dicha corriente de líquido, para producir una corriente de gas y líquido mezclados, una cámara de contacto dispuesta para recibir dicha corriente de gas y líquido mezclados para flujo dirigidos verticalmente hacia abajo a su través, medios para mantener dicha cámara de contacto a una elevada presión un distribuidor de flujo en el extremo superior de dicha cámara de contacto, para asegurar que se consigue una velocidad de flujo uniforme medida a lo largo de una sección transversal de dicha corriente de líquido en dicha cámara, siendo dicha cámara de contacto de sección transversal esencialmente uniforme, de manera que puede mantenerse en ella una velocidad sustancialmente constante de dicha corriente de gas y líquido mezclados, medios de recogida de burbujas de gas situados junto al extremo inferior de dicha cámara de contacto, para recoger gas no disuelto presente en dicha corriente de gas y líquido mezclados después de que recorra dicha cámara de contacto, medios de recirculación de gas que conectan dichos medios de recogida de burbujas con un lugar, aguas arriba, en dicha corriente de líquido, de modo que dicho gas sea vuelto a intectar en dicha corriente de líquido, y una salida para permitir que la corriente de líquido tratado salga de dicho aparato.
