Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en máquinas volumétricas con pistones rotativos para comprimir o descomprimir un fluido gaseoso, del tipo que comprende al menos dos husos helicoidales que engranan entre sí y que están montados sobre dos árboles paralelos, yendo la sección transversal de la ranura helicoidal en disminución o en aumento, estando dispuestos los husos en un cárter provisto de al menos una admisión y de al menos una salida, caracterizada porque los husos presentan al menos una ranura helicoidal que forma, visto según la hélice, superficies escalonadas que se extienden con ángulo recto con relación a los ejes de los husos y que forman rebajes que se suceden, encajándose una nervadura helicoidal del contra-huso en la citada ranura, en el plano determinado por los ejes de los dos husos, para encerrar un volumen determinado de fluido gaseoso, porque, durante la rotación de los husos, la nervadura helicoidal desplaza el fluido desde la admisión hacia la salida haciendo variar su volumen y produciendo la diferencia de presión requerida, y porque los husos tienen, en sección transversal, la forma de una superficie circular que presenta al menos un rebaje en forma de omega.
