Abstract

Procedimiento para obtener mediante compresión con fluencia codos de tubo de chapa de pared delgada, exentos de costuras y pliegues, de cualquier radio de codo, ángulo de codo y diámetro de tubo, a partir de una pieza en bruto de tubo de corta longitud y de pared gruesa, con o sin apéndices de tubo cilíndricos adyacentes al codo de tubo, caracterizado porque se asienta una pieza en bruto de tubo de corta longitud y de pared gruesa sobre un macho de codo de tubo que da la forma de codo de tubo deseada y se hace que esta pieza en bruto bascule hacia dentro en forma de arco junto con dicho núcleo, en correspondencia con el radio dado del codo de tubo, entre unos rodillos de presión de una cabeza de rodillos de presión giratoria que giran en torno a la pieza en bruto de tubo y actúan sobre ésta, cuyos rodillos de presión giratorios dan lugar a la presión de fluencia sobre la pieza en bruto de tubo sometida a basculación y laminan ésta transformándola en un codo de tubo de chapa de pared delgadacon superficie de tubo lisa.
