Abstract

Mejoras introducidas en la fabricación de un indicador de desgaste de revestimientos de fricción, para zapatas de frenos de tambor y zapatas, en el que un sensor instalado en la zapata de freno, está adaptado para actuar como medio indicador, cuando el grosor de un revestimiento de fricción portado por una plataforma de la zapata para su acoplamiento a un tambor giratorio, es inferior a un valor predeterminado, caracterizadas dichas mejoras en que el sensor 9 del indicador de desgaste de revestimiento 1, va instalado en la zapata 2 mediante unos medios de instalación 10 situados en una depresión 7 formada en un borde de la plataforma 4, yendo dichos medios de instalación 10 dotados de unos medios retenedores 19, 43, 45, adaptados para cooperar con la zapata 2 en l a retención del sensor 9, en posición de empleo adyacente al revestimiento 5.
