Abstract
Procedimiento para la preparación de nuevos derivados de prostaciclina, para su utilización en calidad de medicamentos. La prostaciclina (PGI2), uno de los factores principales en la aglomeración de plaquetas sanguíneas, actúa dilatando sobre diferentes vasos sanguíneos y por lo tanto ha de ser considerado como agente de disminución de la tensión sanguínea. No obstante, la PGI2 no posee la necesaria estabilidad para un medicamento. Así, el tiempo se semivida de la PGI2 no posee la necesaria estabilidad para un medicamento. Así, el tiempo de semivida de la PGI2 a valores fisiológicos de pH y a temperatura ambiente es sólo de unos pocos minutos. Se ha encontrado ahora que mediante introducción de enlaces triples y eventualmente de grupos alcohilo en la cadena inferior de la 9-desoxi-9alfa,6-nitrilo-PGF puede conseguirse una más larga duración de efecto, una mayor selectividad y una mejor actividad. Los compuestos obtenidos por el procedimiento tienen efecto hipotensor y broncodilatatorio. Además son apropiados para inhibir la aglomeración de trombocitos.
